Qlikview Accesspoint is not showing

Hi All,

I installed QlikView Server. In client they r using Windows XP OS. After Qlikview Server Installation all the services r running and QMC AND QEMC also I can access. but I can't get Qlikview access point????

may i missed anything?????????

Sathish,

What do you mean by "not showing"? First, check if the QlikView Webserver service is running. Let me know if the first step solves your problem.

Dear Satish

As you are telling that all services are up and running.

Even after using the link

http://localhost/qlikview/index.htm if you are unable to reach acess point.

the problem is that If you have IIS server configured. then there will be port conflict.

by default iis server and acess point use the same port i.e 80

In order to make acess pont up and running i suggest you to change the port of acess pont on which it is residing

In order to do so go to the following path

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QvWebServer

here u will find config.xml file edit this file and change the default port from 80 to some other port which is available.

make sure that the port you provide here is not blocked by firewall

Hello Sathish,

You are using the qlikview webserver or IIS server? If you are using IIS, why don't you use the qlikview webserver itself.

do one thing as you say your acess point's port is 4080

Plese check that if this port is blocked by firewal. If yes ask your system admiistrator to open that paticular port for you.

then it should work
