Quick Buttons

Hi All,

I Need Quick buttons on my app named as MTD, LMTD.and

I need action on these buttions as when i click on then all the documents data should be as per button.

Exxample if i click on MTD then all the objects on sheet show as per month till date data only.

If I click on LMTD then all the data on sheet should show only data for last month.

You can use the show hide conditional show on the buttons.

Place the two text objects one on the other and conditional show them on click of the buttons.

Apprciated for your quick response.

But, I m looking for show and hide object schinario.

What i need suppose if i Click on MTD Button then whatever the objects on the sheet, it must show the MTD daata only.

If there is chart then it should show the MTD data in chart as well etc.

Hi,

For text objects, you can place one for MTD and second for LMTD.

Create a variable 'vLMTD' and set it with some value, say 0 for MTD or 1 for LMTD.

on the text object properties Caption there is an option for conditional show, write vLMTD=0 on the text object with MTD expression.

and vLMTD=1 on the text object with LMTD expression.

Whereas for charts you can create two expressions and put the same conditions in conditional portion of the same.

Hi Mahamed,

There are couple of ways to achieve this.

1) Create a variable for date start and end and use those in the expression. for example if you click on MTD then min date and max date will set as month start and current date. Use those variables in set analysis of the expression.

2) Create an action in the button as to select the particular date interval.
