Reg- Dynamic change of chart title

Hi ,

How I can know the value selected value in a cyclic expression group. For example I have a Cyclic Expression with 2 field (Year and Quater). If I select any one of this, My chart title should change correspondingly.

I tried with ='Chart by ' & if(GetCurrentField(Year-YearQuartal)='Year','Year','Quater')

But Its not getting change. Any other options.

Please Help me out in this.

Hi

As far as I know there is no possibility to detect what expression is currently selected in expression group. Function GetCurrentField works for dimension groups only.

Hi,

Create a cyclic expression and give proper name to expression as you required and make sure windows title & title in chart should be blank and now try switching the expression now. you will get the name of the expression which you have selected on the windows title and Title in chart.
