Relative Path

Hi,

I having a QVW file with relative path like ....\...\.

I am trying to change the path but i am not able to find where the path is stored and how it is showing as ....\...\

I couldnt see any variables storing this path as SET variable. How to identify where the path has stored.

Where do you see this relative path?

If it is in the script, then the work path is defined by the Directory statement. If there is no such statement, the place of the qvw defines the work directory. There work directory can be found in the system variable QvWorkRoot, which should not be changed manually.

go to debug and check the default value of QvWorkPath   ex:- "F:\qvw\Developer1_Exercises".

This give the dirctory info

Thanks Henric and Praveen,

I got the path from the above comments. But it is showing where the actual QVW file was stored not the path of the data sources. I would like to get the path of the datasource.

Hi

If it shows..\ then that is mycomputer\localdisc. if u stored the data in mydocuments then it ll show like this

..\Documents\My Received Files\test1.xlsx if you stored the data in desktop then it simply shows the file name. As per my understanding i have given this solution. hope it helps.
