Reload job with bat-file

Hi all,

I try to reload a Qlikview-document with a scheduled job that call's a Bat-file on a server.

The Qlikview desktop is licenced for the user I use in the schedule.

It works fine as the user is logged on.

When the user is logged of the job locks the QVW-file but is doing nothing.

Who can help me with this?

Regards,

Kris

In Your task in the scheduler, you can select to run the task whenever the user is logged on or not.

You can select option "Run Whether user is logged on or not" while creating task

The server is in Dutch, I had this option selected.

It's strange that it is running without a problem when the user is logged on.

Hi Kris,

have you go Generate Logfile Enable in the QVW? If not then enable it, attempt the reload again and see if the subsequent logfile contains anything useful.

if you Connect to a sql server With OLDB With a specific user, change to the same user that shold run the task.

Don't log off. Just disconnect from server and then try.
