Removing duplicates in Straight Table

Hi,

I have data in straight table and don't want duplicate are repeated in each and every row, at the same time don't want to use pivot table. Pls find the attached sample data and I am using personal edition.

Sample data contains source data and expected output data as well, kindly let me know the best solution.

Is there any particular reason to not use Pivot table ? .. because your requirement is fit for Pivot.

I agree Chand in fact I did it in Pivot table, but I will to have give proper reason why it is not implemented in Straight Table. Is this feature not available in straight table.

Hi,

  Hope this will be helpful :Straight Tables - Remove Duplicate Row Labels

chart properties -> dimensions -> click on the repeated dimension -> set 'text color' as

          =IF(Dim_name = Above(Dim_name), White())

( set the text color same as background color of ur straight table)

Note - You can only able to disappear the repeated values. For Merging col/rows you have to try in pivot table only.. As I know there is no other way around!...
