Hi folks,
Please help me in replacing the 1000 with the letter 'K' on the charts axis. Please tell me the pattern to be used. Thanks in advance
With regards,
Susvith
you can try something like below.. In the Numbers tab.. in the chart properties window...
Hi Susvith,
go to the Number tab of the chart property, then type K in place of "Thousend" textbox your axes will be maked as K in place of 1000.
Cheers

Hi Aadil,
thanks for your quick reply. I did as you said but it was helpful for only some extent. It is showing a 'K' symbol on the top of the axes.
But i want to see the label values as 20k,30k40k.. etc....Can you please help me.??

then you will have to add it in your number format like below..
use Fieldname/1000&'K' as field in script
or use this as calculated dimension
take a look at this thread...http://community.qlik.com/message/244879#244879 to get values along the axis.
Hi Jasleen,
Thanks for the reply, Let me be more clear on this,
For example:
If the values on the axis are
10000
20000
30000 and so on
I want those values to change into...
10k
20k
30k and so on........
Please help me in this....
With regards,
Susvith
Is it always going to be in thousands - k. what if your values turn out to be in M's or B's as your data grows? You can divide the metric by a 1000 as someone suggested above and append a K to that....and so on for M's & B's. Can be done in the script or UI.
Another option is to add Text in Chart and place it appropriately along the axis to say a message like Values in Thousands or Values in Millions etc.
