Reverse Expresion in X-Y Chart

Is there a way to reverse value on the X- axes in a charts?

I am using a Rank in the Expression and when I use this in a Chart is returns:

rank

4

3

2

1

A B C D

Ofcourse I want it the other way around so number 1 is on top

rank
1

2

3

4

A B C D

I can not find this, but it I am sure this is possible, somehow ....

Agree - had misunderstood your question

What about a combination of negative Ranking, no 0-values and re-formatting of the Y-values?ranking.jpg

See the attached example

Here is how it looks:

Bit of a work around but this is a possible:

In the espression eg: =rank use: '=rank*-1' to invert the numbers - this will make the axis show in descending order.

Unfortunately I can't find a neater solution.

For even more work-around-ness add a white text object over all the minus signs so they appear as positives!? alternatively hide the axis all together and replace with your own in a text object which will be fine as long as the Y-axis never changes...which isn't likely!

Guess it could work.

Hope that helps,

Yes that is an option which I could use, and in this case I could use it (because the amount stays the same) But ther must be a better way right?

Any suggestions?

Nobody found a solution for this yet?

Is there a way to ask QlikTech if this is even possible at all?

Hi,

In Properties - Presentation, there is tab called "Reverse" on right top side.

Please find attachment.

You can use it.

I think simplest way.

Thanks for the reply but that is not what this option is for:

When this option is checked, the values shown in the chart will be reversed, i.e. if the 10 highest values are shown and the box is checked the chart will then show the 10 lowest values.

You may sort by the ASCII-value of the items, see the attached one

Thanks, but I don't see how that is going to help me.

To clearify take a look at this picture:

ReverseRank[1].jpg

What I want is to reverse the ranking, so number 1 will be on top.
