Row Count

Hi,

I am using this formula RowNo(TOTAL) and this places a number which is correct, but within the data set I need the count to also check a dimension and if this is the same for a few rows then the number should remain the same.

thanks

vijay

Kindly provide sample data or sample app and then explain what you want to achieve !

May be use Rank(DimensionName)... numbering might be different, but if should rank the same dimension with the same number I think

Hi tried that it just puts a 1 on each row.

hi Sunny,

is it then possible to change the result to a single number so that all the ones that are same starts with 1 and then adds 1 to the next set and so on.

thanks

Not sure I understand the output you are looking to get... can you show this via an example?

Hi Sunny

please see below, in column C I need the 3 to be replaced with the Rank expression starting with 1 and then any additional to add 1 to it.

thanks
