Row specific values in pivot table

Hi,

I am trying to pivot my data to create a list for use in Word mail merge.

The problem that I have is that the data is type string, and Maxstring is a table-level function, where I need a row-level function

I attach two pictures to show the issue - if there is more than one row then all the cells have the same value...

I need any solution, script or chart or macro. Can you help?

Can you share sample application and explain result set in excel?

Hi Martyn, Maxstring can be used in row-level, maybe you are using it in set analysis, and set analysis is applied at table-level.
