What are the software and hardware requiremnts to develop a project using Qlikview?

As you could expect this all depends on the amount of data you're going to use.

I've got clients with a Core i3 with 4Gb RAM till a QVS cluster enviroment.

So based on the question "What are the software and hardware requiremnts to develop a project using Qlikview?" there is no exact answer.

Could you provide more details about the data / records / cardinality ?

I am making a project for my last semester in grad school. Hence i am developing a HR dashboard, that companies could use. My data in size, isn't much. I have about ten tables, all stored in an ERP. I would just like to know the basic requirements.

It largely depends on the volume of data that you are planning to load.

Assuming that the data needs are manageable (under 10 mil rows or so), you need the following to develop the project:

- a Windows computer (or a Mac with Windows running as a virtual machine)

- 4GB of memory or more (the more the better, especially for larger data sets)

- The fastest CPU you can afford

- QlikView developer tool, which you can download from qlik.com

In order to deploy your application and share it with others, you need:

- a Windows server with sufficient capacity for your data volume and number of users

- QlikView server software that needs to be purchased
