Hey everyone,
in my charts are revenue data over several years. No problem to display them, if I group them by years. It gets complicated, though, when I want to show them on a monthly-dimension. There seem to be to many values to fit them into one chart.
What I want to do is, "squeeze" all months onto the x-axis without increasing the chart´s width.
Currently there is no scrollbar on the x-axis. The data is just "cut-off"; only a third of the values are visible. If it´s possible I´d rather not use scrollbars.
Thanks,
Lina
Hi,
Go to chart properties --> Presentation tab --> and select enable x-axis scroll,
Let me know if that worked.

Hithere,
thanks for your reply.
Enabling the scroll bar would work, but I´d like to keep it disabled.
In the attached file is a picture of two charts:
- The first picture shows what the chart currently looks like.
- The second picture shows all the values that are there (but that didn´t make it into the visible part of the chart).
I´d like to have all values of Chart 2; with a width of Chart 1.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Lina
switch to continuous dimension axis in the axes tab
Hi,

Hi Marco,
that gives me an "No numeric values on x-axis"-error.
How can I get rid of that then?
Thanks,
Lina
Your dates are loaded AS Text. Load them as real date (dual).

Can you provide sample data/APP?
