Sheet level trigger when specific data not present

Hi All,

I have a sheet level trigger on four different sheets. I have chosen action as select in field  and have assigned a specific values to each sheet trigger. Now trigger is working on some sheets but not in others. the reason it was happening because i do not have that specific variable value in my data model table. So in default it is showing all the data  in the objects for that specific nonworking sheet which i do not want .

Please guide me on what should i do keep that object empty if the value is not present in the source table. i.e. the same value is also in the trigger for that sheet.

If I've understood your problem, kindly perform an outer join between source and destination table in script editor itself. Trigger is applicable if data string you r searching has a match ie both source and destination fields are in common
