Go to the presentation tab of the Object properties and add Text in Chart, put in a "$" and click OK, and close that window.  Then, go to the chart, press CTRL and Shift at the same time and hold, then resize and move the text box where you want it.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

thank you for the information but this is not what i wanted.

the provided Solution will show me a $ sign next to the Legend.

I would like to show the $  sign on the Axis values(the one that you can hide and show from Axes tab on the properties).

Thanks,

Alec,

as of my understanding you  want your vaules to be like $10, $20

so for that  go to number tab ..select money in number format settings

on the Axes tab of Chart properties, set the Static Min, Static Max and step values according to the expression you're using. That should show the $ sign with each value along that axis.
