Slow response in QlikView Accesspoint

Hi All,

We have deployed our application in QlikView Access point. In Desktop version response is good. The same application we move to production Server. It is taking so much time to filter selections.

We are using NPrinting ONDemand report generation also.

My application size is 5.6 MB only.

System Configuration:

QVW version 11.2 SR13

NPrinting Version 16 SR4

RAM: 64 GB

We have checked CPU Utilization  20%

In Access point we are using IE 11

At the same time we tried from Chrome, it is better compare to IE. But it is also slow.

Thanks in Advance,

Saranya.A

What is your RAM utilisation like ?

Thank you for your response.

RAM Utilisation is just 2%.

If I am trying to access other 1GB application means it is working fine.

Only for this particular application we are facing this issue.

If it's just one qvw then move that to PC / latop with QlikView Desktop installed.

Open the Task Manager on the Performance tab and move it to one side of the screen.

Then open the qvw and keep an eye on the Task Manager whilst doing things and try & find if doing anything causes CPU / RAM spikes.

Seems a bit of a coincidence your RAM & CPU utilization are both 2% which I would class as abnormally low.  I would double check those figures and watch them for a while, especially looking out for CPU spikes.

Also is the server physical or virtual ?

Maybe there are in any way broken calculations or table-associations - this could for example happens through the use of section access.

Is this document doing lots of calculations/calculating lots of variables?

Thank you for all your inputs.

bill.markham I will check the RAM and CPU utilization over Desktop and Server Version.

marcus_sommer We are not having section access in our application.

wallerjc Yeah, We have lot of Variables. All the expressions are imported from variables. But we are using =$(Variable) in expression. '=' sign is not used in Variable defnition. Is this causing problem?.

Thanks,
