TOP N BUTTONS NOT WORKING WITH MULTIPLE BUTTONS

I am struggling with getting multiple Top N buttons to work. In my attached example I have Top 1, Top 2 and Top 5 It works if I do each button and then clear and it works when i select the buttons in descending order. However it is not working when i select the buttons in ascending order. I've tried adding a clear action to my buttons before the Select in Field is done but that is not helping either.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Selections may happen at the same time but external macro will be run later than selections!

The idea of my new solution attached is that run "clear selection" first and then select the values by using macro and it is working for me.

See attached new file. Hope it works for you this time:)

I've also logged this with Qlik and they are saying this is not a bug.

"The input parameters for all the actions are calculated before the first action is executed, So if a parameter for an action is changed by a previous action, that change will not be used in the succeeding action."

So if this is the case can some assist in giving me a workaround.

I will not use your solution from the beginning.

See my workaround attached.

Hope it can help!

Thank you for your response.
I was using Select in Field action because I needed a selection to me made on the car field. That selection gets applied to other objects in the app. I dont think your solution will work for me as no selection is being made.
