Table Viewer number of rows discrepancy?

When I look at a table in the table viewer, it says it has 733,248 rows.

When I make a table box for the same table, the table box shows 733,290 rows.

Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is this a problem with the table viewer?

Can you possibly added another field from another table into your table box? This field can be from a table where you had one to many relationship.

I did another test.

Table viewer says: 602,479

Table box says: 850,882

If I remove the key field from the table box, it says: 602,399

Looks like the table box is showing rows for the key fields where the data exists in the related table.

I believe that is exactly what is going on. May be pick a non key field which cannot have a null value and for that field check 'Omit Rows Where Field is NULL' on the presentation tab of the table box properties.
