TextObject Background Color

Hello!

Some days ago, some qlikview users started to complain about transparent background color on text objects. Analysing the problem, we discovered that it just occurs when the user is using IE 9 or an older version.

Something changed on qlikview's last releases that can bring that problem? 'Cause we update our server to SR5 some weeks ago, but just this week this problem started.

I couldn't find anything on the release notes. Did you contact QlikTech Support? Also, did you check if there is any windows/ Dot Net update?

Hi!

I've checked with our support, and looks like the only problem is with the IE version. The problem just occur on version 9 or lower. With IE 10 and 11 (and also with chrome and firefox) it works perfectly.

We will update all IE from qlikview users to version 10 to solve this problem.

We just are curious about the reason of this.

I didn't contact QlikTech Support yet, but I'll do that. Thanks for the tip.
