i Have multiple dimensions in a staight table, different expresions for each dimension which will be set with a variable. Problem is I want expression total and Total both rows, i get any one row among these two.
In a table with single dimension it work. I have checked 'show Total' in dimension limits tab and checked 'expression total' in expressions tab.
Please guide me with this.Thanks
Add a new expression where you add columns, and take that new expressions total.
column(1) + column(2)
for example. not sure what you mean though...
I want two separate rows one below other, first total row which is just sum and below that expression total for which i have written expression.
in expression i have taken it as row 0.
I want two separate rows one below other, first total row which is just sum and below that expression total for which i have written expression.
in expression i have taken it as row 0. As the expression total is of row number 0.
You cannot have two sum rows as far as I know. Duplicate your expression and do the different totaling there.
I can have two sum rows, one is expression total, other is just a sum of that column. In my expression i have written
if(rowno()=0, netsales*3, netsales)
netsales is a field name. this is working when I have only one dimension but in a straight table i have 5 dimensions, its not working there
I think you had better post an example app or at least a screenshot so we can understand you better.
Jason
try if(rowno(total)=0, netsales*3, netsales) but an example should server well.
rowno(total)=0 is not working.
I have attached a eg. snapshot
