Total row in a straight table - Design problem

Hi,

I'm designing my Straight Table , I colored the rows from the Visual Cues and the Total row from Custom Format Cell.

The rows have gray/white colors and the Total row is yellowish.

The problem occur in the gray fields, The yellow gets the gray into it as well, making the Total row to look pretty nasty.

Any solution to this problem?

Thanks.

Try using the back ground color option in the expression options.

And there put in, if rowno() <>0, so that the coloring doesnot apply to total rows.

Let me know if that is what you are looking for.

Thanks for the help Rocky.

I get the logic of it, I just don't understand where to implement it.

I tried placing the suggested if inside the Properties - Expressions - Background Color - Definitions

and no luck..

Am I in the right place?

If all else fails, you could probably play around in the Custom Format Cell area.

Click in Qlikview and press ctrl+G. Then right click on the cells and then select "Custom Format Cell". I've used this several times to clean up my totals/titles row.

Execatamundo!

I see it's not being done in the visual cues of the expressions.

The yellow background is from the custom cell format as I can see, what about the gray/white color of the fields?

How did you set it?

Thanks!
