Trying to get 3 months after and before a date

Hi all,

I have a straight table chart which has a date and an amount. Simple.

Now, there is a field called type, which shows either future or past dates.( for example someone that has had an appointment and someone that has a future one)

In my chart I want to show dates 3 months after and 3 months before the last date( ie. max Past Date or latest appointment-type=past)

In my example this would be 01/02/2012 - so 3 months before this and 3 after this date.

therefore I would want to return the dates 01/11/2011 ; 01/12/2011 ; 01/01/2012 ; 01/03/2012 ; 01/04/2012 ; 01/05/2012

I think this can be done in set analysis to the expression sum(Amount), but not sure how to?

Any ideas would be appreciated - I have attached my sample .qvw

Thanks for this, it seems to be almost correct.

Only thing is when I select a date-say 01/02/2012, I want 3 months after and 3 before, but not this 01/02/2012 to show. Is there any way to achieve this?
