Unable to Edit Scripts for Session Access User

Dear community,

Regarding as Subject,

Accessing a qvw containing Session Access from Personal Edition,

just noticed when I unchecking 'Access Document Properties (Users)' on Document Properties > Security

but remain 'Edit Script' checked, I wonder that the user still unable to edit the script, user only can view only.

My objective is, I don't expect the user can access document properties, but still able to access the script to add their custom flag load script.

Please help, since doing flagging by user side become a mandatory expectation.

Sincerely,

Alex

Hi.

You can try to move the part that user is supposed to edit into separate include file.

Wow.. it's work.. thank you, what a brilliant idea to tricks this situation,

so, I just need to add 1 line script on qvw:

     $(Must_Include=user_script.txt);

Then let the user write their own excel load script, and save to user_script.txt file.

(the user can try to load first on their separate personal edition qvw,

then copy the script to user_script.txt)

Again I should say, thank you very much Whiteline.
