Unexpected Error

We have an issue "unexpected exception occurred" found occasionally in our PRD server, and this happened on several different dashboards. Normally, it can be solved after restarting the browser. But we would like to avoid this error. Can anyone please advise the cause of this problem?

There isn't a current selections box on the dashboard

Try to obtain more details of the situation that causes this error from your end-users. What were they doing/selecting/moving/creating at that particular moment?

Also, the version of your QlikView installation would be helpful. See QMC->System->About->QVS@XXXX->Product Version.

This could be caused by a known bug in Qlikview with certain browser releases or a mismatch between the version used to develop the document and the server version.

Some issues I've personally had over the years have been around sliders, containers (specifically containing charts using a scrollbar) and current selections. I'm also assuming you're not using a 3rd party extension which could be a cause. Try removing the objects one by one and testing it via Accesspoint after each object is removed. I've usually determined the offending object with this method. Sometimes the fix is just to rebuild the offending object.
