What Is QVD optimized and QVD un optimized

Can anyone explain about QVD optimization and QVD un optimization while doing the reload

please attach example QVW file.

Simple rule:

don´t do any transformation or where clause (besides Exists) and your QVD would be loaded optimized

Hi,

UnOptimisedQVD: If we Prepare QVD file After Making some changes to the actual database table then we say that QVD is in standard mode or Fastmode

--> Unoptimized load or unoptimized QVDs

OptimizedQVD:

If we Prepare QVD file With out applying any changes to the actual database table then we say that QVD is in Super Fastmode

--> optimized load or optimized QVDs

That must be your personal opinion, as it has nothing to do with what Qlik means by optimized or unoptimized load.

What if i do all my calculations like case when for example, in an SQL instead of doing an ApplyMap() or an IntervalMatch() in my Load Script, How much will it affect the performance of the report? Or will it affect the performance at all?
