ad-hoc reporting issue

in ad-hoc reporting if i select one dimension, two dimensions are getting selected in pivot table

this is happening for only one dimension, remaining dimensions working normally

what could be the reason

dimensions:

Prod\Prod fev (PH)     

  Prod\Prod fev Alt (PH1)

when i select    Prod\Prod fev Alt (PH1) in dimensions

both dimensions are getting displayed in pivot table

Suggest qlikss..

Hi Suresh,

The reason for this is because of common name.When you select Prod\Prod fev Alt it will pass the condition for  Prod\Prod fev as well.Hence both get selected.

Hi Suresh,

The reason for this is because of common name.When you select Prod\Prod fev Alt it will pass the condition for  Prod\Prod fev as well.Hence both get selected.

yes. you are right. we used conditional string that matches for both dimensions

i used just PH1  not entire Prod\Prod fev Alt (PH1) , so it matched for both
