can we do this in Bar chart

Gi guys,

I have two expressions in my bar chart and are over stacked.

which means the second bar is stacked on first bar, but can we start the second bar from the x-axis (i.e. from value 0) where the first bar starts with? (instead of stacking it up on  the second bar)

regards,

Naresh

Hi... chart can't be overlapped in QlikView but you can reduce the spaces between two bars.

Go to Presentation

Bar Setting and do the Bar Distance -6

Change to Grouped instead of Stacked:

hey thanks for that but both the charts should be overlapped and should start from axis.

You can't do it on a normal bar chart.  You either need to have two bar charts with one laid over the other one with the top one transparent or you need to create an extension object.  Having two overlaid is probably not recommended as you could end up with dimensions being different on both and then things won't line up properly.
