changing the background color in the text object but still shows as white

Hi All,

Today, i was trying to create a new ext box, but when i changed ground color to red, it did not show.

And when i tried to import a picture on it, it did not show either.

When I changed the sheet background color to grey, the text box background was grey.

it is like the backround for my text objest are not working or disbaled.

Can you help me fix this weird issue ?
