H All,

for a demo I would like to open a dashboard in my browser on my own pc without connection to a network.

Is it possible to open a dashboard in my browser like  http://localhost/dashboard.qvw ?

if you'll install qlikview server on your computer then you can do it

the other option is to display the model via webview and hide all toolbars

Hi,

Yes Possible you need to Install Qlikview Server on your machine.

Or If you have QlikSense It dosen't require server to display your Application on web.

Yes,

You can request trail License from your local partner nearby your region.

In simple words, Its not possible to use "Access Point" without QV Server. There might be some workarounds to activate web view and hide all the other tabs..

Either you can get trial license of Server or go and Use Qlik Sense. Having said that without QV Server(Full or Trail), you can't open QVW in Access Point.

Hope this is clear!

Hello all,

thanks for the responses.

I've installed the server-software on my laptop and entered a key.

All is working fine. But I've some dashboards with extensions.

I've installed the desktop-version and opened the qar-file.

If I open the dashboard in mij desktop software I can see the extension (google maps).

But If I open the same dashboard in access-pont, my extension is not vissible.

Who can help me with this?

Regards,

Kris

your local extensions are stored in this folder

C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects

copy the folder inside to this folder

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Qlikview server \Extensions\Objects - or smoething close to this

and then everything should work
