formatting excel output

Hello,

Is it possible to format excel that gets generated when someone presses the little excel button?  Basically I was hoping to be able to add a title, date info, and field selection info.  Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi,

Format the excel is not quit possible but when you export the data as excel from that object you are able to do any formating like font type, size but any selection information is not possible in mu knowledge.

You can add selection information by selecting 'On BIFF Exports' in:

<Settings>,<User Preferences>,<Export> tab,<Selections Stamps on Imports>.

Thanks, this is helpful, still wish I could customize it more but this will work for now.
