how can i get the permession to see specific documents to different client in qv analyser

Hi ,

We have qlikview entreprise edition how deliver qv application as document via qv analyser , i have about 30 user and every one should see a specific list of document : x will see 1.qvw + 2.qvw

y will see only 1.qvw

our authentication method is based on windows ( ad) and we use publisher to essentially create jobs and tasks for reload . Where can i manage application accessibility on the list of document in qv analyser .

Hi,

in this case do the following:

- open "QlikView Enterprise Management Console"

- look for Documents => Source Documents => Distribute

- define the recipients (using your Active Directory) and the destination folder (your Accesspoint)

- in the security tab of your QVW file QV Publisher adds the recipients

- the result is that a user will see only applications in accesspoint if she/he is authorized by windows security

thank you for your reply but we have qv server i think it's not the entreprise edition (QV Server management console ,sorry for the wrong version ) i think it's not the same thing !
