how to compair sales for 2 periods in 1 table

Hello,

i want to make a comparison between salesfamilies for sales during 2 different periods.

I want to be able to choose per period:

-date from

-date untill

-customerordertype ( to make comparisons between different campaigns)

To be as flexible as possible i thougt working with variables was best?

now my questions:

-What should the expression be like to take into account the 3 variables per period?

-can i work with a calender to fill in the value for the date variables?

-the variable for the customerordertype, can i work with a drop down containing the possible values for that field?

i include an example of the table.

thanx!

grtz,

chris

Probably easier to use alternate state to do this, assuming you don't have performance concerns already
