how to give Username and Password - Qlik Community

hi everyone,

how can i provide username and password in my qlikview file.

After entiring the username and password the user can see the next sheets in my file.

Pls can anyone give me some basic points about this providing the authentication and how to provide username & password.

If any ebook material is available pls attach.

Thanks for your post.

I had a doubt that in Example 5 & 6 (i.e; OMIT and REGION). Whether these examples will not work for QLIKVIEW PRIVATE VERSION.

I tried the above examples but i am not able to OMIT or REGION for the fields.

AND ONE MORE DOUBT:

Can i Place the USERID in TextObject after login. i.e; if ADMIN login with USERID = ADMIN123, then can i place that currently logged USERID should display in a TextObject.

Is this possible ???
