Hi all, i'd like to ask you
can qlikview import pivot from excel, if it possible, could anyone explain how?
Thanks
what do you mean : "import pivot table"
all the data despite the selection, dimension etc? or just the data that you see?
Hi Navarone,
What you have to do is open new qlik file - use ctlr + E (edit script or from File menu click Edit Script) - click Table Files - browse to the excel file you want to import. Click save button and then Reload. You should have your file imported into QlikView.
You can also use the import Wizard for this. Let me know if this is helpful.
Regards,
Gabriel
what i mean is,
can qlikview load the data from a pivot in excel ?
Hi,
I know this might be possible using scripting. If you want to import Pivot from excel, in my limited knowledge of QlikView, is best to pitvot the data out and copy and paste the data (turn to static) then import the table to QlikView.
