is it possible to import a microsoft word document (extension .docx)

i am wanting to import a document containing a single set of definitions (that everyone is working to) from a library - my preference is to use MS word - i only want to use simple text formatting, nothing too fancy (i.e. something like "oxbridge dictionary" not wikipedia) - there are plenty of pictures in the rest of the document ...

Thankyou Manish, I’ll try using Excell – can I putt all the formatted text in a single cell?

I need formating, e.g. bold, underline, central positioning, change of font size etc.
