Hi All,

is there any way that do we trigger the job from Qlikview Server to Third Party Softwere like SQL job???

Actually i want that  when our Qlik QVD load is finished then Sql job should be triggered.

I think the reverse is possible today using EDX.

However I would suggest you can use a Filewatcher (in case you have Autosys) to check once your qvd/text is generated and then that Autosys job can trigger other SQL stored proc jobs.

Still this approach is not directed from QlikView. It is just Autosys runs frequently to check status of a file and based on updated status it kicks another job.

Yeah we did the same using EDX  for Qlik task trigger.

Let see what we can do  for as we have another way to achieve the same but wanted to confirm that this is possible through the QV server.
