list box grey colour

Hi all

When i open a sheet in qlikview, i want to make a value in list box to be in grey colour

Sheet1

list box

India

japan

china

i want china to be automatically grayed

Hi John,

Go to sheet properties -- triggers -- sheet event triggers OnActivateSheet and add an action.

This will automatically let you select one country on activating the sheet. If you want to change the color to grey you must check an extension objects that lets you pick own choice of color for selection.

What is the reason and condition you want the china to be display as grey.

Please elaborate more about this.

Try this,

Set Trigger on 'OnActiveSheet' Event of sheet1 as

Action = 'Select in Field'

Field = 'Country'

Search String = (India|japan)

China will Automatically grayed

Another option: Do such a selection in another list for which China is not associated.
