missing link and values when joining 2 tables

I am trying to arrive at a dynamic report solution where there are multiple fields that can be selected and results displayed in the dynamic report window. i have attached a screenshot.

we are having 2 tables one with plan and other with actuals.

in the attached screenshot, we are trying to combine this plan and actual to display the values for one of the customers. but the plan and actuals comes up in separate line since the sales group is not a field present in the plan. but the actual table has both the sales group and sales group historical.

is there any ways to copy the sales group value to the line where you could see NULL value. indicated in red.

i understand peek is one such option but because of the complexity of load and multiple concatenates with data from various tables, i find this hard to set the value

any thoughts?

Hi,

try

1:

> only move your Customer Group Historical  field from dimension to expression.

2:

> only move your Customer Hierarchy  field from dimension to expression.
