qlikview Vs Tableau

Hi All,

I need analysis of Qlikview functionalities against Tableau as part of Package evaluation to be done for a client. Can anyone share their analysis on the same.

I know about Tableau and Qlikview.

Tableau cannot compress data , unable to handle data volume that Qlikview Can handle.

Tableau is a great product, as is Qlikview, but which is the better for your client depends on their needs. Tableau is easier to use, more intuitive and quicker to learn. Qlikview has more powerful/flexible reporting capabilities than Tableau. I wrote an aritcle comparing Qlikview and Tableau which you might find useful.

You can compare Table to QV in very detailed or simple way. The simple one is here:

1. analyze millions of data,
2. need ETL tools,
3. employ IT specialist,
4. quite often modify analysis.

2. already have ETL tools
3. employ IT specialist

             can you please explain which we need ETL tools in qlikview and "already have ETL tools"  in tableau .

and can u explain the architecture of tableau ?

Isn't Tableau is only a service in a cloud ?

Or it also can be used for building complex local infrastructure as QlikView ?

Tableau require seperate ETL tool but Qliview do not require any seperate ETL tool.

the funny graphic is off.  The list for Tabeau states " empoy IT specialists" but he diagram states the opposite on the left side.

Is there a more recent pros an cons list for this comparison
