"Failed to contact QVS. make sure that the qvs is available with the correct credentials "

Hi Team,

We are facing issue in QMC. When clicked on QVS we are getting error "Failed to contact QVS. make sure that the qvs is available with the correct credentials "

And not able to view folder Tab in QVS. and also User document folder is not accessible. but access point and scheduler is working. kindly help on this issue.

Sorry when clicked on the QVS we are getting "Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Make sure that the QVS is available with the correct credentials"error.JPG

How about restarting the QMS service?

Thanks for the reply. we have restarted all the services. but still same issue.

Do all services run under the same account?

no..  distribution services running in one system and rest all in another system

That may be but that's not my question. Do they all use the same service account? Are you operating in an AD domain?

Yes. they are using the same service account and we are in AD Domain.

And the accounts used on each platform to run QlikView services are domain accounts?

Can you post a screenshot of the service control panel listing the QlikView services on each platform? Please include the last column in which the account is listed. Thanks.
