show an object on all others

hi

i want to show a text box when a variable is set to 1.my sheet is full of other object that i dont want them to be minimized or hidden when showing the text object.(i need it for making a help text for a help button). how is it possible?

In the layout tab of the textbox there is conditional showing, so define a variable, change its value with a button then use that variable into the conditional box of text box

goto properties of text object, select Layout tab and there the selection top

if it is still not on top use custom wioth a high value (e.g. 200), at least a number higher

than all pthers

and in show condition enter Variable=1

Not quite sure what you want, but it sounds like you want to use the Layer setting on the Layout tab of the Properties window of the text box. Setting that value to Top should cause the text box to be displayed on top of other objects if there are any.
