strange behavior of qlikview- data not showing

Dear Community,

I have a Qlikview file with one of the sheets having 4 containers in which 2 straight tables exist in each container working fine without any issue in my machine.

But when it was opened in another machine, it is showing nulls values in straight tables in all 4 containers. I could not able to figure it out what the actual problem is?

I tried installing same version of qlikview in both the machines but has no luck.

Please suggest me what could be the actual problem ?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Manideep

If there is really no section access and no dependencies within expressions or variables to osuser() or similar it could be that you are struggling with differences between the regional-settings. For example if there are (in dimensions/expressions/variables) no explicit formattings then the default-settings from OS will be applied and could cause any un-matches.

We have a similar issue. We have a report that has been using well on server in Singapore and US. Upon adding a data set, the newly added data is showing in Singapore server but not US while the rest of the data is showing well for both.

We have no clue on why it behaves this way.

Any input will be appreciated.

Hi,

In our case it is due to difference Timezone that the date is offset by a day. When both location having the same date, the data is showing. We modified the application to handle the different timezone.

Hope this helps.

Thanks to Rex and Ketty for helping.
