How to identify unused objects in qlikview

What do you mean with 'unused objects in qlikview'?

Charts in your QVW that are never used by users of your app? How do you determined 'unused', i.e. is a chart unused if there will be no user interaction with that chart (but the user may look at it and retrieve useful information)?

For some aspects, you might want to look into enabling the audit tracking logs

Go to Sheet Properties--> objects

you get a list of objects used in that sheet.

from there, you can decide what objects are playing a significant role in that tab.

Hi Krishna,

Thanks for your comments. It would be more helpful if I can get the list of unused objects.

So that I can delete them without searching from thousands of objects in an application.

Thanks.

Hi,

I think there is no direct way to do this.

All that you have to do is judge by yourself what objects are important and utilized so that you can delete the one that does not requires.

Thanks Ashfaq,

If we have the option to list out the unused objects in Qlikview, that will be more beneficial

Thanks
