use of rand() to bring in an element of fun - surprise, surprise

if i use rand() as an action for a screen activate trigger, then it's ok the first time, but if i leave the screen and reactivate the rand() does not issue a different number - bit weird

e.g.

activate - var set to 0.00986453, using rand()

exit - set it to 7

activate (again) var set to 0.00986453 - the same!

I suspect this is because the rand() function uses time and time stands still when the load script has completed

... this is not want i want, i want it to give me a different number/surprise - any ideas?

this seems to generate different numbers on the activate sheet (set variable)

=rand()*now(1)
