using set expression to exclude a value

Hi,

I was trying to create a set expression like {<Brands<>{'Total'}>}. But it seems that QlikView doesn't allow '<>' in a set expression.

So how is it possible to exclude a value by the means of a set expression?

{<Brands= {"*">} - {'Total'}>}  or  {<Brands - =  {'Total'}>}. should do
