Connect with API to Salesforce

Hello all,

I am connecting with API to Salesforce.

And when I extract data it is very slow.

Does anyone know how to make it faster?

Thanks,

Ariel

Not sure about the official connector but there is also a Salesforce Connector in QVSource:

Perhaps you could see if this is any faster - we can answer questions about any performance issues with this connector and it also gives you the possibility to run multuiple requests asyncronously in parallel which might help your use case depending on what you are trying to achieve:

Hi Chris,

I installed the QVSource and I connected to the production API and it is working fine.

But it doesn’t satisfied my wish…

I want to extract the data from Salesforce and save it in a QVD for my model.

Today I’m connecting directly from the QlikView to SalesForce.

I checked and it takes a long time of extract the data in both ways.

I’m searching for a faster way to extract data.

Can you help me with that with your product?

Thanks,

Ariel

Hi Ariel,

Just to confirm - have you connected to Salesforce using both the QlikTech Salesforce Connector and the QVSource Salesforce Connector? And have you compared the performance?
