Hi Community,

I have a question regardsing QlikView SAP Connector. I created connection and Test Connection succeed, but when I'm trying to open select dialog I got an error.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like you haven't installed the right transports in the SAP system that you are connecting to. You are running the 6.1.1 version on the windows side but since you have renamed the transport on the SAP side I can't see if you run the 6.1.1 transports on the SAP side. But the error:

17:49:16,490 [1] - Error in GetTable: metadata for function /QTQVC/GET_LANGUAGE not available: FU_NOT_FOUND: Function module /QTQVC/GET_LANGUAGE does not exist

makes me believe that you haven't installed the right transports. Please check with you SAP resources to verify the content of  BIRK902863. You'll probably have to install the transports delivered with 6.1.1 .

Small addition:

In Log file I found this notes

17:49:05,392 [1] - SAP Transport information: version: BIRK902863; date: 2015-10-27; time: 11:23:08; SAP basis: 740;

17:49:05,395 [1] - SAP Transport used is: BIRK902863. This is not the original QlikView SAP Connector Transport. The current Transport for this release is E66K900063

I believe this means something but I don't understand what exactly... and could be the cause of my issue.

Andrei

Hi, could you provide the log file where the erroro occurs (C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPSqlConnector\Log or C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPConnector\Log depending on what version of the connectors you are on) ? There are probably some clues there/ Mats

Ok, are you sure that  BIRK902863 contain the E66K900063 transports? If not, this might be the problem. Otherwise please provide the whole log file / Mats

Yeahh.... correct... I mistakenly installed different vesrions of SAP Connectors on my SAP system and my Desktop...

As a result transports were different... Thank you on poiting me this!
