REST API Connector "Select" button not working

When trying to establish a connection using the REST connector for QlikView, I am able to set up the connection string which connects successfully.

But when pressing on the "Select..." button in order to bring up the window to view the available tables and fields within the tables nothing comes up.

Have tried multiple different connections and even updating and downgrading the REST Connector and still got the same issue.

Any one know a workaround for this? or is facing the same issue and has solved it?

Hi @Jbekhazi

It could be privileges or maybe a timeout, by any chance could you contact your internal team or who administers that source to see if they see the petition coming?

Or could it be that your internet proxy is preventing to get to the data source?

Hope it helps!

Hi @Jbekhazi

It seems that the problem is that the window doesn't' come up , by any chance could you attempt to create a connection using the following URL

https://services.odata.org/V3/Northwind/Northwind.svc/Orders?$format=json

Just place the URL and leave everything with default and create the connection, then click the Select button and verify the outcome.

If the window still doesn't appear, could you attempt to rename the Settings.ini located in your local User profile C:\Users\<YOUR USER>\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView ?

Thank you .

Hello Nadia,

Thank you for your suggestion.

Using the link provided, the select statement creator did in fact pop up.

Does that mean that the API URL I have been using has an issue with it?
