Hello,
I have a problem with SAP Connector 5.3 and Qlikview 10.0.
When I launch a task that uses the SAP connector to extract data from SAP within the Qlikview client, it works perfectly.
Instead, if I launch the same task from the management console, it fails in 2 seconds returning this error inside log:
CUSTOMCONNECT*Provider*QvSAPConnector*XUserId*XPassword*
Error: Invalid custom connector QvSAPConnector.dll
Can you please suggest something to solve it?
Could be a publisher-related problem?
I already re-installed the SAP connector, but this didn't solve the problem.
Many thanks
Nicola
2 things to look at. Did you re-apply the transports for the new connector and did you create a new connect string, also check the different varibles in the connect string. Qlikview has a habit of changing the default values.
Thom
Thank you very much Thom for the reply. I tried creating a new connection string, but unfortunately it didn't work. The variables are ok too. I looked inside the SAP Connector log and I found this:
"RfcPing failed. Key = RFC_INVALID_HANDLE (An invalid handle was passed to the API call)"
I've also tried restoring the SAP Connector license, but it didn't work too...
How can I re-apply the transports?
Thank you
Nicola
Go to QlikTech's download site, download the transports, them have your basis person re-apply them. Did you apply the new transports for 5.3 ? One other thing to check. Have your security person check to see if the userid you are using is not locked in SAP.
Did you find the problem to this issue? I get the same error in the log.?
I have the same error too.
RfcPing failed. Key = RFC_INVALID_HANDLE (An invalid handle was passed to the API call).
Did you get resolution to this problem?
I am getting same error after SAP system upgrade.
