Qlikview Salesforce connector not returning a sessionid or sessionurl

We've got a publisher and application server both running the salesforce connector.

The application server connects fine and is returning data but the publisher server (same subnet, same firewall rules, same user, same salesforce user/token/password) returns with no data and we get the following in the log files :
