SAP Connector: Oracle vs MS SQL

Hi,

we use SAP connector and recently our SAP system database has been migrated from Oracle to Microsoft SQL. Since then the performance of SAP connector and uses almost all CPU from the SAP server.

Does SAP connector needs to be reinstalled or configured because of the database change?

Your SAP Connector is not running on the SAP backend, is it?

Correct. SAP connector runs on our server and SAP is hosted elsewhere outside our network.

One job is running fine but another one next to it (same job other similar company), causes CPU problems

Sounds like an SAP configuration problem. Or a DB with bad or missing Indices...

In theory, SAP Connector interfaces to SAP, always. The connector never connects straight to the DB Engine.
